Rockstar Games has announced that starting tomorrow, June 18, the next-gen console upgrade for Grand Theft Auto 5 will be free for all owners.
The upgrade originally cost $9.99 for players moving from PS4 or Xbox One to the PS5/Xbox Series versions. Anyone who skipped it can now grab the visual improvements at no cost.
Rockstar also confirmed a new major heist is coming to GTA Online next month, centered on stealing artwork from the Kortz Center in Pacific Bluffs. The multi-stage heist will require setting up an art studio in the player's mansion before scouting the gallery and planning an infiltration and escape route.
Meanwhile, players continue to wait for new Grand Theft Auto 7 updates, expected any day given the approaching release.
