GTA V and GTA Online will get update on PC in 2025

Grand Theft Auto Online

When Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online got their native versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, they added a number of graphical (and other!) upgrades, such as ray-traced reflections. Rockstar Games has finally announced that similar improvements are coming to PC.

The studio also noted at the end of the post that they also plan to bring long-requested features from the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of GTA Online to PC next year. There's no exact list of changes, so it's anyone's guess what exactly Rockstar has in store, aside from the aforementioned ray-traced reflections. Details should be out in 2025, as will the patch itself.

Let us remind you that Rockstar developers are currently working on Grand Theft Auto 6. The first and so far only trailer was released in December 2023. The game is scheduled for release in the fall of 2025 for PS5 and Xbox Series.
