Guns of Eschaton — First Gameplay Revealed for Soulslike Western FPS

Guns Of Eschaton

Eschatology Entertainment has released a 4-minute gameplay demo for Guns of Eschaton, a first-person soulslike western developed with the involvement of the art director of Half-Life 2 and Dishonored.

The footage shows gunfights across varied locations and a boss encounter. The setting blends western and apocalyptic fantasy with occult magic. Alongside firearms, the protagonist wields spells, and a skill system covers both active and passive abilities.

Combat is designed to punish habits from other shooters. Every bullet counts, each weapon has its own character, and every enemy has specific vulnerabilities. Players must study enemies, identify weaknesses, choose the right ammo type, time parries and dashes, and apply occult abilities to survive. Co-op is also supported for those who prefer not to go it alone.

No release date has been announced. Guns of Eschaton is in development for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
