Halo Infinite: a Third-Person View To Be Added

Halo Infinite

The first full third-person view in the history of the series will appear in Halo Infinite before the end of November, with the release of the corresponding update. This was announced by the developers from 343 Industries themselves on the official Halo page in the X.

Additional details of the patch were shared by Senior Community Manager John Unyshek and Senior Software Engineer at Skybox Labs Colin Cove. According to them, the over-the-shoulder view will work as a separate game mode, meaning that players will not be able to switch perspectives at will during the match.

It is currently unknown whether the third-person view will be supported in the story campaign, or whether it is being created exclusively for multiplayer. The update does not have an exact release date.
