New World Interactive has released the Operation: Clear Sight update for Insurgency: Sandstorm, bringing new content, modding improvements, and a dedicated launch trailer.
The update adds two new weapon sights and three high-difficulty challenges aimed at veteran players: eliminate 500 enemies using commander fire support, win 100 rounds without a single death, and land 500 pistol headshots. These are built for players who want to push their skills in high-intensity combat.
The mod editor received notable upgrades — creators can now import custom audio files and upload mods larger than 2 GB through the built-in tool. The developers highlighted community maps Prison and Last Light as standout examples, reaffirming that user-generated content remains a core part of the game's ongoing development.
The update also adds new paid cosmetic bundles, including outfits, patches, and weapon skins.
