After footage from the opening mission of 007 First Light leaked over the weekend, IO Interactive responded by officially releasing 13 minutes of gameplay from the game's opening rather than playing whack-a-mole with reuploads.
The studio also warned that some players have already received physical copies early, so those wanting to go in fresh should avoid spoilers online.
Without giving too much away: Bond joins a group on a mission to Iceland that quickly goes wrong. He's forced to evade enemy forces by hiding in grass, behind rocks and ledges, and staying in shadow. MI6 soon makes contact and asks for Bond's help.
007 First Light launches May 27, with pre-order holders getting access 24 hours early. Preload is available on PS5 but not on Xbox or PC. The game is coming to PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
