New Arc Line is the debut project of Dreamate studio, which is an isometric RPG in a steampunk setting. Last month, at the Games to Be festival on Steam, the authors presented a demo version and, based on the feedback they received, decided to revise the game's release scheme - now, before the full release, the title will go through an early access stage.
The devs said: "We've been considering this decision for a long time, but the feedback from the demo during Steam Next Fest was so valuable that we've decided to go with an Early Access launch model. Simply put, we want to work closely with you, our audience, to make the full version of New Arc Line a truly unforgettable RPG."
The game's events begin in the majestic city of New Ark, which is in the heyday of magic and technology. The protagonist is an unlucky immigrant who gets caught up in local intrigue while searching for a cure for a deadly disease. The main character can be either an inventor or a follower of secret knowledge, and in addition to him, gamers will have a motley crew of companions under their control. At launch, 4 races (human, elf, dwarf and giant), several backstories and 6 classes with 12 subclasses are announced.
New Arc Line will launch in Steam Early Access on November 26 without Russian localization. The developers promise to reveal a detailed plan for content support in the coming weeks.
