Fans of Hotline Miami should keep an eye on Kusan: City of Wolves, the debut project from South Korean studio CIRCLEfromDOT. A free demo is available now on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series — the Switch version comes later.
The game follows Chin, a former soldier turned mercenary who has built a reputation as a deadly killer in the city of Kusan. Instead of taking another contract, he decides to intervene in a city coup and rescue a mysterious girl with enormous but uncontrollable power. As in Hotline Miami, a single hit is enough to kill — both Chin and his enemies have no margin for error.
Key features include a neo-noir dramatic story, 54 handcrafted stages, varied boss battles, a customizable combat prosthetic, an energetic soundtrack, and comic book-style storytelling.
Kusan: City of Wolves launches July 30 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch.
