What's Coming in Shattered Omens

• New seasonal mechanic — "Omen Windows" — During travels (both campaign and endgame), players may encounter reality rifts surrounded by energy rings. Entering the circle triggers enemy battles. After defeating a wave, the ring expands. Players must destroy enough waves to trigger the final enemy battle. Victories yield various rewards including corruption runes, which can corrupt items. The result either significantly improves the item with additional modifiers or completely ruins it.
• New universal currency — hourglass fragments, also earned from defeating enemy waves in Omen Windows. These can be traded for specific items, including corruption runes and new Woven Echo types.
• New rogue skills.
• Improved combat impact and polished animations.
• Bug fixes, balance improvements, new items, sets, and more.

2026 Content Roadmap Revealed

Alongside the fourth season announcement, developers unveiled the 2026 content support plan:

• Season Five (start date unknown):

  • Rebalancing
• Orobyss Expansion (release date unknown. Free DLC for all current owners):
  • Two new chapters expanding Last Epoch's story campaign
  • New bosses — Orobyss, Uber Orobyss, and others
  • Significant skill system expansion
  • Monolith corruption levels and time stones
  • UI and gamepad control improvements
  • Optimization enhancements
  • Combat system and visual effects improvements
  • Battle audio improvements
  • Additional items, new enemies, quality-of-life improvements, and more
• PlayStation 5 version release
