Skyhook Games has announced that Lawn Mowing Simulator 2 launches September 23 on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
The sequel builds on the lawn care business sim formula with a fully explorable headquarters where players manage contracts, hire staff, service equipment, and grow their vehicle fleet. Licensed real-world mowers are available for different job types, spanning residential yards to large commercial properties across the US.
The grass system has been completely rebuilt — millions of individual blades with varying height and density make the lawn's condition visually clear, and cut height and mower speed have a more meaningful impact on the result. A new leaf blower tool handles debris cleanup jobs. Returning locations also change between visits — new flower beds, flagpoles, or pools may appear, requiring a different approach each time.
