This fall, Konami will add the Fox Hunt online mode to Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater. As it turns out, the multiplayer won't support cross-platform play — Konami has confirmed this directly.
As a reminder, the developers claim Fox Hunt is an original mode that combines gunfights with stealth gameplay. Battles will unfold on maps from the story campaign. Yu Sahara, who worked on MGS4, Peace Walker, Ground Zeroes, and The Phantom Pain, contributed to this addition.
Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater releases August 28th on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. As we wrote earlier, the first reviews of the remake will be published on August 22nd.
