The creators of the "Very Positive" metroidvania Grime at studio Clover Bite have released a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming Grime 2 and announced that everyone can now try the demo.
In the trial version, developers prepared one location — the so-called "Temple of Hands," where players will battle numerous monsters and a couple of bosses, as well as test several weapon types with diverse protagonist abilities.
In Grime 2, players take on the role of the Shapeless — a mimic capable of absorbing defeated enemies. Through this, the protagonist acquires their abilities. Summoned clones of defeated monsters prove useful not only in combat but also while exploring branching locations.
Grime 2 still has no release date. The game will initially launch only on PC (Steam), with console versions planned for the future.
