Publisher Dear Villagers and developer Andre Gareis have announced that detective adventure Mindcop will be released in the last quarter of 2024. Platforms include PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
There's been a murder at Camp Merrilin Crater, and it's up to you to solve it. The infamous Mindcop is the main character. He can enter the minds of suspects, which is presented as a real-time puzzle. Solve them and navigate the Sea of Thoughts to gain clues and conversation topics.
Every action in the game takes time. This is important - you have only five days to find the criminal. The investigation is non-linear - you decide which clues are worth paying attention to and which are likely to lead to a dead end.
