Moon Studios Plans Another Game in the No Rest for the Wicked Universe

No Rest For The Wicked

Moon Studios head Thomas Mahler has shared plans for the future of the No Rest for the Wicked universe ahead of the action RPG's full version 1.0 launch this October on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5. Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch 2 versions are planned for later.

No Rest For The Wicked New Game

The studio is currently working on an ambitious survival mode for No Rest for the Wicked and experimenting with prototypes that blend action RPG elements with other genres. At least one additional game set in the No Rest for the Wicked universe is confirmed to be in development, based on one of these prototypes.

Moon Studios has also established a new sub-label called Moonities, focused on smaller and more experimental games. The first Moonities project is Luma — described as a new simulator subgenre combining the best of Minecraft, Sim City, and Civilization. No release date has been set, but a 10-hour demo is available on the studio's website. Mahler notes it's already "VERY addictive" at this stage.
