Cold Symmetry and Playstack have confirmed that Mortal Shell 2 launches August 20. Pre-orders are now open.
The sequel expands the universe of the original Mortal Shell with dynamic combat, deeply developed weapons, and an emphasis on open exploration. The world is described as both expansive and compact — gradually revealing its fractured landscapes and hidden corners without wasting the player's time.
Two editions are available for pre-order. Both include the Bone Herald and Obsidian Herald skins. The premium Devout Edition adds eight obsidian skins and up to 72 hours of early access. A physical PS5 edition with an artbook, photo cards, steelbook, and collector's box is also planned.
Mortal Shell 2 launches August 20 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
