Bethesda congratulated all Starborns who bought Starfield exactly one year ago on this momentous occasion and revealed a little more detail about the upcoming first DLC Shattered Space.
"Congratulations, Starborn. You have grown in power, crossed the Unity, and received your very own Starborn suit and Guardian ship. Now go, head off into your new universe to immediately replace them both with something better!" - written in the message.
Let us remind you that players will have to visit the territory of House Va'ruun, where members of the Great Serpent cult live. What else awaits space explorers:
- The home planet of the Va'ruun'kai cult contains more than 50 places that the player will be able to visit on its surface. This includes the main city of House Va'ruun.
- Players will be able to craft a new type of grenades from organic components. The developers promise that they will look disgusting.
- Two new formidable enemies: Redeemed and Vortex Horrors.
- Somehow, on the main planet of House Va'ruun, the player will be able to meet new types of enemies from the Blood Fleet and Spacer gangs.
The Shattered Space expansion will be released on September 30. Bethesda CEO Todd Howard compares the DLC in scale to the Far Harbor expansion for Fallout 4.
