Studio Qzil.la has released a new trailer for Sekiro: No Defeat, the anime adaptation of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, featuring a compilation of scenes including footage not seen in previous trailers.
The film offers an alternative take on the game's story. The setting remains the same — the declining Ashina clan's domain during the Sengoku period of civil war in Japan. Young heir Genichiro Ashina kidnaps the Divine Heir Kuro to harness his powers and turn the tide of battle. Standing in his way is Kuro's devoted samurai known as Wolf.
Sekiro: No Defeat hits Japanese theaters on September 4, followed by a Crunchyroll series release before the end of the year.
