NetEase Games and Starry Studio have confirmed that the free-to-play survival game Once Human launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on August 25.
The console versions support cross-play and cross-progression with PC, and offer two graphics modes: Quality (4K at 60 fps) and Performance (120 fps). A new first-person view option is also being added, with free switching between first and third person.
Six scenarios are available at launch on consoles alongside a dedicated PvP mode. Each scenario features its own unique environment and ruleset. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where star dust has corrupted everything and turned people into monsters — players gather resources, build structures, fight creatures, and try to survive.
Pre-order starter packs are available on PS Store and Microsoft Store, including cosmetics, in-game currency, and other bonuses. Once Human is already available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) and mobile.
