Two insiders are pointing to a September launch for Onimusha: Way of the Sword. The first report came from X user intercelluar — who previously leaked the AC Black Flag Resynced trailer clip and the Rayman Legends remake logo — claiming a September 25 release date, while noting the information is early and may have changed. The claim was later corroborated by more reliable insider NateTheHate.
Officially, the game is still slated for sometime this year. It would be Capcom's third major release of 2026 after Resident Evil Requiem and Pragmata. An exact date is likely to be announced during one of the upcoming summer gaming showcases.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword is coming to PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
