In early August at the THQ Nordic presentation, Fatekeeper was announced — a spectacular first-person action-RPG that also serves as studio Paraglacial's debut project. Four months later, the title has received a brief gameplay demonstration.
Combat and Exploration Showcased
In the short eight-and-a-half-minute video, players can evaluate the graphics, animation quality, and local combat system. The main role features an experienced and heavily armed fighter who, alongside their rat companion, travels through picturesque locations and battles enemies using a two-handed sword, axe, and telekinetic spells.
Story Details Remain Scarce
Story details for Fatekeeper are currently unavailable. It's only known that players will explore fantasy ruins "reminiscent of past cataclysms." Developers promise a dynamic combat system with diverse protagonist abilities, including magic schools, artifacts, and more.
Fatekeeper launches in Steam early access this winter. System requirements are currently unknown.
