Owlcat Games is set to release the final expansion for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, after which content support for the game will officially end.
"The game will continue to receive bug fix updates, and we will continue to accept your bug reports. Additionally, there may be some improvements to the player's experience in the future. However, we have no plans to add additional story or mechanical content after this update, so if you've been waiting for the game to finally take its final form, now is the time." - Owlcat Games.
- The upcoming update number 2.5 will be released simultaneously with the GOTY edition of the title and will improve the mythical path of the golden dragon. Among the announced innovations:
- New visual effects and a full alternate skin for the Corrupted Golden Dragon.
A mythical spell book with ten new spells for both regular and corrupted gold dragons. For example:
— Dragon's Might: As a swift action, you can increase your damage dealt by 50% for 1 round.
— Summon Dragon: You summon 1d3+1 medium silver dragons. The summoned dragons attack your enemies as best they can.
— Thousand Bites: As a swift action in gold dragon form, you can gain 3 extra attacks for 1 minute. The extra attacks stack with the haste spell and similar effects.
— Dragon's Wrath: You blast your enemies with beams of focused draconic energy. You can fire one beam for every 6 caster levels you have at each enemy within 25 feet. Each beam requires a successful ranged touch attack to hit, and deals 1d6 damage per caster level. Half of the damage is considered fire damage, and the other half is a direct manifestation of holy or infernal power, which is not protected by fire resistance.
- Ten new mythic traits with dragon breath enhancements. These include:
— Consuming Breath: Your breath drains the life force from your enemies. Living enemies touched by your breath take additional negative energy damage equal to the damage dealt by your breath. A successful Fortitude save against your breath's DC halves the damage.
— Mind-Clearing Breath: Your breath removes all mind-affecting effects cast by enemies from allies in the area. In addition, you remove all mind-affecting effects from enemies touched by your breath, including those cast by your allies while they are charmed or charmed.
— Mighty Breath: Your breath's damage is increased by a number of damage dice equal to your mythic level.
— Rejuvenating Breath: Your breath heals allies in the area. The amount healed is equal to the damage dealt by your breath.
- New domain and blessing.
- Rebalancing of familiar abilities and spells.
- Storyline expansions with new events, character reactions, and two full-fledged gods to choose from when creating a hero.
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is available on PC (Steam, GOG, EGS), PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. There is no exact release date for the upcoming update yet.
