Top Hat Studios and Regular Studio have announced that MOTORSLICE is launching this spring on PC via Steam. A free demo is available now.
The game follows P, a "slicer" who arrives at an abandoned brutalist megastructure to destroy dangerous machinery — and quickly discovers the job is far more complicated than expected.
Gameplay centers on parkour: wall climbing, surface sliding, acrobatic jumps, and covering vast distances through movement. P's chainsaw serves double duty as both a weapon and a traversal tool. The world is populated by hostile construction machines ranging from small autonomous units to massive dump trucks. Some bosses are too large to fight directly — players need to climb onto them and dismantle them piece by piece.
The megastructure itself is built to make players feel small: endless corridors, dark spaces, and architecture scaled far beyond human proportions. Inspirations include Prince of Persia and Mirror's Edge.
MOTORSLICE features a minimalist story, tough challenges, and puzzles. The soundtrack is composed by Pizza Hotline in a drum and bass and jungle style.
