Grinding Gear Games has announced the next expansion for the original Path of Exile, titled Keepers of the Flame, launching October 31 alongside global Update 3.27 on PC and consoles.
At the time of the announcement, the developers shared only a brief teaser. More details on the upcoming content will be revealed during a Twitch stream on October 23. For now, it’s confirmed that the expansion will feature a new challenge league with unique mechanics, as is tradition.
The stream will be hosted by Jonathan Rogers and Mark Roberts. Alongside showcasing new content, the developers will answer frequently asked player questions and offer an exclusive Twitch Drops reward.
As for Path of Exile 2, Grinding Gear Games plans major updates every four months. Following the release of Patch 0.3.0 in late August, version 0.4.0 is expected in December or January.
