Fabled Game Studio has announced the release date for the sequel to card-based roguelike Pirates Outlaws, titled Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage. The game arrives on PC in early access December 4, with other platforms following later.
This installment begins the adventure in the "New Elysia" region. Players will build decks, explore islands, battle enemies, and conquer the Arena to become legendary captains.
Pirates Outlaws 2 stays true to its roots while introducing new mechanics. Players can now collect and merge cards, upgrading them to more powerful versions. Artifacts provide special effects and bonuses, while equipment unlocks passive abilities. Each run earns gold for customizing character appearance.
Before each voyage, players choose a starting deck and hero with unique abilities. These powers unlock through alchemical potions. Companions can also be recruited, adding their cards to your deck and strengthening it.
In Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage, players decide where to go next — into battle, to the tavern, or to market. Smart route planning and supply management are crucial to keeping your ship afloat. Dangerous enemies, giant sea creatures, and countless deep-sea treasures await.
