Planet Coaster is an amusement park management simulator. The first part was met with great enthusiasm (90% positive reviews on Steam), and now Frontier Studio has announced a sequel with the simple name Planet Coaster 2.
Key features of the game:
- Water parks with extensive capabilities. You can create a lazy river, adrenaline-pumping steep slides, and also combine water entertainment with roller coasters and other "dry" attractions.
- An event sequencer that allows you to come up with exciting animatronic shows.
- Improved construction and design tools, including four new park themes - mythology, vacation, aqua, and Vikings. Many parts can be repainted, scaled, attached to attractions, and so on.
- Management has not gone anywhere - you need to look for benefits for the budget, monitor safety, study the desires and needs of visitors (this will become easier), and look at statistics on new heat maps.
- There are multiplayer elements: you can share your save with a friend on any platform and build a park in turn, compete in leaderboards, share your creations with the community, and walk around the parks of other users.

Planet Coaster 2 is scheduled to be released in the fall of 2024 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
