Planet Zoo 2 with Birds and Aquatic Animals Announced

Frontier Developments has announced Planet Zoo 2, launching October 13. The sequel introduces flying birds and aquatic animals for the first time in the series, alongside customizable wildlife reserves that extend conservation efforts beyond the zoo itself. Players can release animals into fully buildable, expandable sanctuaries with living ecosystems around the world.

The building system expands with four new architecture themes inspired by iconic styles from different countries, plus five returning themes from the original game.

PC System Requirements

All tiers require 64-bit Windows 11, DirectX 12, and 40 GB storage.

Minimum — GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 (6 GB), AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT (6 GB), or Intel Arc A750 (8 GB).

CPU: Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600. RAM: 16 GB.

Recommended — GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (8 GB), AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT (12 GB), or Intel Arc A770 (16 GB).

Planet Zoo 2 is coming to PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
