Publisher DANGEN Entertainment and studio Rastrolabs announced the release date for post-apocalyptic action-adventure RoadOut. The game arrives on PC and consoles March 12, 2026.
Mercenary Claire's Mission
In RoadOut, players control mercenary Claire, who races, fights, hacks systems, and crushes enemies in the Death Zone ruins. Her goal: understand her connection to AI, uncover conspiracies, clash with gangs, find technological relics, and upgrade her vehicle into a stylish instrument of destruction.
Wheels and Dungeons
The game world combines vehicular exploration with dungeons filled with puzzles and combat. Players can switch from car chases to street shootouts, participate in side missions, destroy enemy cover, and upgrade both Claire and her vehicle through modifications and crafting.
AI-Controlled Wasteland
RoadOut's setting is post-catastrophe ruins where AI controls humanity's remnants. The Death Zone is populated by three warring factions: Wasteheads, SaibaKuran, and Order of the New Code. Claire survives by completing contracts for local leaders, including deliveries, sabotage, and assassinations, gradually uncovering secrets of her AI connection.
Retro Style Meets Synthwave
RoadOut promises a blend of retro style, synthwave, and dynamic post-apocalyptic action, where racing, combat, and world exploration organically intertwine in one adventure.
Journey to the Death Zone and thrash all bandits in RoadOut on PC (Steam), Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. Developers have prepared a demo.
