A team of enthusiasts presented a short voiced teaser for Project Borealis: Prologue. This game will allow you to get into the winter Ravenholm from the Half-Life series of games. Judging by the video, the prologue will be released this fall.
Project Borealis has been in the works since 2017. Half-Life fans based their work on a text that series writer Marc Laidlaw published on his blog that same year. It was a draft of the script for Epistle 3 (Half-Life 2: Episode 3).
There were more than 80 enthusiasts from all over the world and they decided to implement Laidlaw's ideas on the Unreal Engine. The previous post on the developers' blog dates back to March 2020 and now they suddenly decided to release a prologue.
According to the short description, Project Borealis: Prologue will take place in Ravenholm before the events of the main Project Borealis begin.
