The creators of cooperative roguelike Ravenswatch at Passtech Games have announced a new playable character arriving next month. This time, the great wizard Merlin joins the hero roster.

As a reminder, Ravenswatch tells the story of characters from various fairy tales and legends who unite to battle nightmare creatures and save the dream world. Unlike previous DLC heroes (Romeo and Juliet), Merlin will be paid content priced at $7.99 across all platforms.

During battle, Merlin earns power runes — a unique resource that enhances his spells and enables devastating combinations. The wizard boasts nine active abilities divided into three categories:
- Nature Spells — summoning giant bushes, star rain, and a stone shield that explodes enemies
- Arcane Magic — classic fireballs, lightning bolts, and frost spheres
- Sacred Light — healing wounds (both self and allies), blinding enemies followed by breaking their defenses, plus teleportation
Ravenswatch is available on PC (Steam), PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch with cross-platform co-op support.
