Housemarque has published a blog post and trailer detailing Saros on PlayStation 5 Pro ahead of the April 30 launch.
PS5 Pro-specific features include the updated March PSSR upscaler, which the developers say produces an image close enough to native 4K that the difference is hard to spot, along with various improvements to reflections and overall image quality. The base rendering resolution is also higher on PS5 Pro, delivering a sharper image at 60 fps.
According to technical director Seppo Halonen, even with dynamic resolution enabled for stable performance during intense combat, PS5 Pro consistently produces a cleaner image frame by frame. The only time the game drops to 30 fps is during cinematic cutscenes, where character detail, lighting, and post-processing are prioritized.
DualSense haptic feedback, 3D audio, and fast SSD loading are also confirmed — available on both standard PS5 and PS5 Pro.
Pre-ordering grants bonus armor sets and early access 48 hours before launch. Saros is a PS5 exclusive.
