South Korean studio Pearl Abyss continues the advertising campaign for their action-RPG Crimson Desert. Today, developers published a second 9-minute overview trailer entirely dedicated to the combat system and progression.
Diverse Weapon Arsenal
In previous gameplay demonstrations, the protagonist mainly fought with sword and shield, but that's far from the only weapon in the game. Developers offer two-handed swords, spears, axes, bows, and more. Additionally, don't forget that beyond Cliff, Crimson Desert has two more playable characters, each with their own distinctive abilities. In battles, developers emphasize spectacle, allowing players to dynamically combine attacks with melee skills and spells.
Exploration Rewards
Crimson Desert's open world rewards exploration. During progression, players can find various treasures, powerful equipment, resources, and special abyss artifacts needed for leveling up and unlocking new abilities. At the same time, developers didn't forget crafting. Found resources are useful for both upgrading existing weapons and armor and creating new items.
Release and Pre-Order Bonuses
Crimson Desert releases March 19 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-orders include a bonus Caled shield. PS5 separately also receives the Grotvant plate armor set.
