Story of Divine Vengeance
Serpent's Gaze takes place in an ancient desert. You are the offspring of the fading divine Magnolia tree. Your task: exterminate the hostile gods and usurpers ruling these lands. There's only one path to your goal — violence. As the story develops, you'll uncover secrets of the desert and your patron.
Solo or Four-Player Co-op
Serpent's Gaze can be played solo, but developers recommend four-player online co-op. Locations are handcrafted without procedural generation. Run variety comes from the curse system — difficulty modifiers like enemy invasions. According to developers, the combat system draws inspiration from soulslikes.
Early Access Details
- The first build offers two factions, eight levels, around one hundred upgrades, plus numerous weapon types and classes.
- Planned additions for Serpent's Gaze include new locations, bosses, regular enemies, another faction, upgrades, weapons, and classes.
- The action game will remain in Early Access for one to two years.
- After leaving early access, the game will be slightly more expensive.
