Bloober Team has announced a new difficulty level for their horror game Cronos: The New Dawn. The so-called Temporal Diver mode will appear in the game early next year with the corresponding update release.
Responding to Player Feedback
The developers acknowledged that Cronos: The New Dawn was created to challenge players, but they've heard feedback and know some players want to explore the game's story at a more comfortable pace. Therefore, the team is currently working on a new difficulty level set to be introduced in early 2026, calling it their calling.
Details Coming With Update
Exactly how the new mode differs remains unknown, though it's logical to assume combat will be significantly easier. Either way, all details will be revealed upon the update's release in accompanying patch notes.
Cronos: The New Dawn is available on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. The Valve store rating is "Very Positive" — 88% based on over 8,000 reviews. A demo is still available for those considering purchase.
