Slay the Spire 2 Hits Steam Early Access on March 5

Slay The Spire2 Early Access

Indie studio Mega Crit has confirmed that Slay the Spire 2, the long-awaited sequel to the iconic deckbuilding roguelike, launches on Steam Early Access in just two weeks — on March 5.

The Spire has reopened its gates after 1,000 years of silence, and players will once again dive into its mysteries with both familiar and brand-new characters, each bringing their own unique deck to the table. The sequel also introduces a co-op mode for up to four players, complete with multiplayer cards designed to leverage each teammate's strengths. Solo runs remain fully supported for those who prefer to climb alone.

Mega Crit plans to use the Early Access period — expected to last around two years — to add and balance more content, including new cards, events, enemies, and environments. Ancient inhabitants of the Spire can be recruited as allies, entirely new locations are waiting to be discovered, and secrets buried deep in the Spire's past are ready to be uncovered.

Slay the Spire 2 will launch on PC first. After the full release, the developers plan to gradually expand to additional platforms.
