Songs of Conquest is the so-called "spiritual successor to Heroes," which launched in Steam Early Access two years ago. This spring, the title finally reached a full release, after which the developers from the Lavapotion studio began creating console versions. The result of this work was today's release of the game on PS5 and Xbox Series.
The devs said: "For us, a small indie team, it’s quite unusual to see Song of Conquest come to life on the big screens of televisions. Essentially, it’s the same pixel strategy, but on consoles, it feels different. Additionally, the console versions are perfect for HotSeat mode—just pass the controller to your partner and enjoy the classic co-op experience. We also highly recommend it for family game nights."
Let's recall that the PS5 and Xbox Series versions were originally scheduled for this winter, but thanks to the help of the Bitwave studio, the developers were able to release them much earlier. In the future, the authors are also planning a release on Nintendo Switch, and in addition, a whole series of add-ons are in production.
