Saber Interactive has released a free update for its hit Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. As promised, the developers have introduced a small portion of free content.
Update 4.0 includes:
- A new co-op PvE operation on the planet Kadaku, where a squad of Space Marines will have to fight back against the Tyranids and the bio-titan Hierophant.
- A new "Deadly" difficulty level with strengthened enemies and limited resources. Cosmetic rewards are provided for completing missions in this mode.
- A photo mode for operations that only works in single-player mode.
- More options for customizing Chaos Space Marines.
- AI improvements.
- Bug fixes.
- Various adjustments to the balance of game mechanics for both PvE and PvP.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is available on PC (Steam, EGS), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
