Space Marine 2: Overview Trailer

Space Marine 2

Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive have posted an overview video about Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. The video is commented by the creative director of the project Oliver Hollis-Leick.

The plot of the second part starts 100 years after the events of the first Space Marine. The protagonist is Demetrius Titus, a genetically enhanced Ultramarine soldier. Titus has been demoted to lieutenant and now has to prove his loyalty in ferocious battles against the Tyranids.

Space Marine II's campaign supports a three-person co-op play. In addition to Titus, you will be able to play as his coworkers - Kyron and Gadriel.

The action game is based on the Swarm engine, used in the zombie shooter World War Z. The technology allows you to draw hundreds of enemies on the screen.

After each mission, the Ultramarines return to the battle barge, a space fortress that serves as their headquarters. Here you can communicate with team members and change your equipment. The Space Trooper's arsenal includes a chain sword, a thunder hammer, and a molta.

To avoid losing your head in battle, you must use both cold and firearms. Brutal melee attacks restore Titus' armor.

In addition to the main campaign Space Marine II will offer a cooperative mode "Operations". There are six classes to choose from, each with their own skills and abilities. For passing missions reward "cosmetics", as well as points, for which the character and weapons are pumped.

For PvP fans, the authors have prepared the "Eternal War" mode with six-on-six battles. The rules are customizable - in addition to the traditional team battle-mentioned fights for control over the territory.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will see the light of day on September 9 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
