Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is certainly not a game as a service, but some post-release content is planned for it. The team at Saber Interactive has revealed what exactly it is.
The action will receive both paid and free add-ons. DLC with "cosmetics" will be sold for money, while gameplay improvements will be available to all owners of Space Marine 2 for free.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 launches September 9 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series; pre-orders of all editions except the standard edition will get access to the game four days early.
