About the World
- In S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is a large open seamless world divided into 20 regions. Each region has its own inhabitants, architecture, anomalies, nature, and so on. Like, some of these regions could even become full-fledged separate games.

In addition, the game is quite harsh and, for example, does not have full health regeneration - they say, with it the "Stalker" would have turned out completely different.
- There are no character levels; progress is based on finding new equipment and gaining new knowledge by the player himself.
- Among the opponents shown are blind dogs, a pseudo-dog (creates phantoms), zombies, a controller, a flesh and a cat (attempts to lure into traps by imitating the voices of stalkers).
- AI is divided into two categories: peaceful behavior and combat behavior. Among the features of behavior in battle is that the game does not give the AI hints where the player is. Therefore, when the player is hiding, the AI begins to guess where the player could hide.
- The main character has needs like food and sleep - they affect the characteristics. In addition, overloading your inventory impairs movement.
- In total, 35 types of weapons were created (and the same gun can be equipped with different upgrades).
About the Plot
- The main character Skif is a man with a complex character. He doesn't like to talk, but he's not afraid to do it.
- You won’t be able to see all the content in one playthrough - there are mutually exclusive lines with different characters and quests.
- The game should be of interest to both those who know the plot of the original trilogy and those who just want to play the game and explore the world.
- Three hours of high-quality motion-captured cutscenes were recorded for the sequel.
