The developers of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl have announced the game's PlayStation 5 release date. The sequel will arrive on Sony's console exactly one year after its PC and Xbox Series launch — November 20th.
Pre-orders for three digital editions are now live on the PlayStation Store:
- Standard Edition ($59.99) — includes the base game only
- Deluxe Edition ($79.99) — base game, deluxe weapons and outfits, additional quest, artbook, and soundtrack
- Complete Edition ($109.99) — everything from Deluxe plus season pass and "premium weapons and outfits"
Early purchasers will receive pre-order bonuses including expanded campfire content with additional dialogue, the "Veteran" weapon, "Tourist" outfit, and a unique character backpack patch. These are the same bonuses offered for PC and Xbox Series pre-orders. Physical editions are also available for pre-order.
PlayStation 5 Features
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will fully support DualSense controller features including haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, providing an immersive experience tailored to PlayStation hardware. The game will also include enhancements specifically designed for PlayStation 5 Pro.
The long-awaited sequel marks the franchise's debut on PlayStation platforms, bringing the atmospheric post-apocalyptic world of the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone to a new audience of console players.
