OI Games and Realmsoft have announced that Clockwork Ambrosia launches May 12 after nearly 14 years in development. A free demo is available now.
The game follows Iris, an airship engineer who crash-lands on the mysterious island of Aspida. What starts as a survival situation turns into an investigation — the local population has vanished, replaced by aggressive machines and strange creatures. The world spans diverse biomes including sky cities, mushroom forests, and flooded ruins. Iris encounters unusual characters along the way, including AI allies, as the island's secrets gradually unravel.
Combat is built around flexible weapon customization — six weapon types with over 150 modifications, ranging from scatter shots and rocket barrages to precise sniper fire. A crafting system rounds out the build options. The game features a classic interconnected metroidvania world structure, hand-drawn pixel art, and a soundtrack by Johnny Stixx.
Clockwork Ambrosia is coming to PC via Steam with English localization only.
