GoldFire Studios has announced the release date for their story-driven first-person adventure Arctic Awakening — the game will arrive on PC and consoles September 18th.
A Routine Flight Gone Wrong
What should have been a standard supply drop to an Alaskan town turned into a nightmare when a violent storm struck. With autopilot engaged and plans for post-mission drinks already made, pilot Kai and his co-pilot Donovan never saw it coming. In a flash, half the aircraft vanished, taking Donovan with it into the howling tempest.
Waking from the wreckage, Kai finds himself stranded in a frozen wilderness where temperatures can literally cut a person apart. His only companion is a court-mandated therapy robot — helpful for conversation, but useless against the brutal Arctic conditions. Survival now hinges on locating his missing partner and finding a way back to civilization.
