Tactical RPG Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch will leave early access on PC and launch on consoles October 9th. This was announced by publisher Kakao Games and developer Ocean Drive Studio.
Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch first entered early access on PC November 5th, 2024, and has since received extensive player feedback that helped refine balance and content. The project currently holds an 80% positive review rating on Steam.
Veil of the Witch transports players to a distant island surrounded by the undead. The protagonist, who lost his memory after a shipwreck, encounters a mysterious witch from the Empire who stands between the world of the living and the dead. She offers the player a chance to become her guardian and eliminate enemies, granting in return a power many would kill for — the ability to live again.
Players must assemble squads, plan every move, and engage in fast-paced, brutal combat on grid-based battlefields. Enemies are diverse, ranging from mad Imperial cultists to flesh-hungry fallen. In Veil of the Witch, players will need to utilize upgrades, elements, weapon mastery, and unique abilities to crush opponents and adapt to unexpected encounters.
The journey promises to be unpredictable — no two playthroughs are alike. Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch features nine playable characters, dozens of upgrades, over 200 unique skills, and more than 30 relics that change the course of battle. If you don't succeed on the first try, death is merely part of the path, allowing you to collect memory fragments and restore your past life.
As players progress across the island, they'll encounter other lost and dangerous characters, strengthen bonds with them, and learn their stories. Each encounter, every battle, and each new memory fragment brings the hero closer to unraveling their own destiny.
Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch is already available on PC (Steam), and will arrive on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch in October.
