Studio Blackridge Entertainment, supported by publisher Octorian Studios, announced the full version release of tactical shooter Burkina Faso: Radical Insurgency. The game officially completed early access on December 26, 2025, achieving release status with version 1.0. This tactical FPS unfolds in West Africa.
CIA Special Forces Campaign
The story campaign focuses on Operation Sahel Dominion, where players assume the role of an elite CIA special forces operative. The primary objective: eliminate the leader of the so-called Sahel Caliphate, implicated in a terrorist attack on US territory. The narrative unfolds through twelve story missions complemented by voiced dialogue and cinematic scenes.
Version 1.0 Expansion
With version 1.0's release, developers significantly expanded game content. The release includes additional missions, including prologue Ground Zero, plus missions The Wolf At The End and Stronghold Sweep. The arsenal was supplemented with new weapons — including the Maverick MGL.40 grenade launcher and NX9 pistol. Additionally, the game added AMD FSR scaling technology support, expanded graphics parameters, and refined night vision system.
Maximum Tactical Authenticity
Burkina Faso: Radical Insurgency gameplay focuses on maximum tactical authenticity. Players access over fifty weapon units with an extensive Gunsmith customization system allowing sight, module, and accessory configuration. Movement and shooting mechanics include cover leaning, smooth walking speed adjustment, magazine ammo checking, and various weapon positions.
