Questline and Awaken Realms have released the fourth free DLC and update 1.25 for Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon.
New DLC Content
The expansion adds two new gear sets and a selection of new weapons.
For archers, the Scalechant Set boosts ranged damage based on nearby enemies and armor value, reduces incoming damage while aiming, and increases draw speed under heavy load. New bows include the Green Capella (chance to inflict Petrification), Wings of Morrigan (mana restore on vulnerable point hits), Garden Keeper (damage boost at close range), Mournshot (bonus damage with wooden arrows), White Mist (damage buff to Chill arrows), Dangerous Dawn (small explosion on burning enemies), and Gilded Viper (restores perfect dodges after poisoning an enemy).
For mages, the Sorrowful Pilgrim Set revolves around Bleeding synergies — inflicting Bleeding boosts spell power, spending mana applies Bleeding to nearby enemies, and the set significantly amplifies Bleeding damage. New staves include the Apple Branch (stacks spell power from Bleeding enemies), Igniting Palm (melee damage boost after spell crits), Woven Bride (mana spend heals the caster), Pale Reflection (grants invisibility when mana drops critically low), and Light of Corbenic (fires six magic projectiles at nearby enemies every six seconds).
An optional romance has also been added — players who purchase a house in Cuanacht can pursue a relationship with one of their neighbors, at their own risk per the developers.
Update 1.25
A new Ultra+ graphics preset brings improved shadow quality, lighting, post-processing effects, fog quality, and night lighting for key locations. New barbarian tattoos have been added for Act 3, along with remappable quicksave and quickload keys, an optional low-health vignette effect, and bug fixes and balance adjustments.
Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is available on PC (Steam, GOG), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
