The developers at Questline have been hard at work crafting a substantial patch 1.1 for the dark action-RPG Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon. This update introduces New Game Plus, additional weapons and armor, a transmog system, and other highly requested community features.
Here's what the update brings (full patch notes available here):
- New Game Plus and transmogrification system — allowing players to change equipment appearance while keeping stats intact.
- Third-person camera improvements for better gameplay experience.
- Enhanced late-game console stability optimizations.
- New forms for Qrko, your adorable pet companion.
- Expanded weapon and armor sets to discover.
- 3 new dungeons and 6 additional quests to explore.
- Various visual and audio enhancements throughout the game.
- Extensive bug fixes and balance adjustments across all systems.
New Game Plus deserves special mention. This mode completely resets the world, letting players experience the story with different choices. However, your character loses King's Power, learned recipes, acquired keys, and readable items. Armor receives debuffs for each NG+ level, while enemies become significantly stronger with higher status resistances. To compensate, some enemies drop more loot, and all discovered and crafted items gain enhanced power levels.
Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is available on PC (Steam, GOG), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
