Publisher New Tales and Artefacts Studio team announced Terrinoth: Heroes of Descent — a tactical RPG in the fantasy world of Terrinoth, based on the Descent tabletop game from Fantasy Flight Games. The project releases on PC and consoles in spring.
Prequel Story
Terrinoth: Heroes of Descent's story serves as a prequel to Descent: Legends of the Dark. Dark forces gather toward Terrinoth's lands, and somewhere in dungeons hides an ancient artifact capable of changing the world's fate. Players must assemble an adventurer squad, venture into dangerous dungeons, and uncover a mysterious occult master's conspiracy.
Turn-Based Tactical Combat
Gameplay revolves around turn-based battles. Eight heroes with their own stories and combat styles are available. Characters level up, gain new abilities, upgrade equipment at the forge, and combined attacks allow dealing crushing damage to enemies.
20 Major Dungeons with Four-Chapter Campaign
The game offers 20 major dungeons with unique locations and fully voiced story scenes. The campaign divides into four thematic chapters, each consisting of standalone missions. According to developers, such missions can be completed in one evening, making Terrinoth: Heroes of Descent a convenient option for joint gaming sessions.
Solo or Four-Player Co-op
Experience the adventure solo or online with friends — co-op supports up to four players, and joining a party is allowed even mid-dungeon.
Maximize your characters' effectiveness and demonstrate tactical genius in Terrinoth: Heroes of Descent on PC (Steam), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. A project demo is available on Valve's store.
