The First Descendant launched on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox on July 2nd. The game is already breaking records on Steam: at the moment of writing the news the simultaneous online presence exceeded 225,000 people and brought The First Descendant to the fifth place by this indicator among all games of the service. In addition, The First Descendant is now the first place in terms of revenue in Steam (and now, by the way, there is a big summer sale!).
Despite the obvious commercial success, user reviews are mixed - 42% at the time of writing the news. There are various complaints: some people don't get purchases, some people don't start the game, some people complain about the abundance of donations or optimization, some people are not satisfied with the fact that The First Descendant requires consent to transfer personal information to unknown places, and some people simply call the game "a copy of Warframe and Destiny".
However, positive reviews also mention the similarity with Warframe, but in a positive way. Especially often they recall the character named Rabbit - the girl has tight clothes and physics in all the right places.
The First Descendant is currently in its pre-release season. A battle pass is already available in the game, and the first batch of new characters will be added in August.
