THQ Nordic and Ashborne Games have announced that The Guild: Europa 1410 launches in Early Access on July 16.
The game combines strategy and life simulation set in medieval Europe. Players lead a modest merchant dynasty across four cities — Kutná Hora, Nuremberg, Graz, and Wrocław. The Early Access build launches with 11 playable professions: blacksmith, stonemason, carpenter, tailor, perfumer, alchemist, preacher, innkeeper, thief, guard, and robber.
Progress can be made through honest trade, market manipulation, or outright crime. A political system in each city lets players climb the social ladder by acquiring influential positions, votes, and privileges — advancing through eight social titles from common citizen to Imperial Prince. Players can also marry, have children, and build a dynasty to pass on.
The Guild: Europa 1410 is coming to PC via Steam.
