The Legend of California — A Survival Shooter Set During the Gold Rush

The Legend Of California

Dreamhaven and Kintsugiyama have announced The Legend of California, a first-person multiplayer survival shooter launching in Early Access later this year on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store).

The game is set in California during the Gold Rush era. Players explore a large open world with varied biomes, PvE challenges, and recognizable landmarks. Core survival loops include resource gathering, hunting, cooking, crafting tools, and managing supplies. Combat covers both PvE — attacking enemy camps for rewards — and PvP territory defense.

Building plays a central role. Players can establish a ranch, open a mine, construct stables, and unlock new crafting stations, gradually turning a patch of wilderness into a full settlement.

The game supports solo play or co-op groups of up to four. Party members share resources, buildings, and overall progress
